New Fields

Late last summer a three-acre parcel next to SOAR was transformed into two graded fields with sprinklers.  A million thanks to all the hardworking volunteers, players, parents and anyone else that got drafted that made the hot, dusty ground near-ready.  Give a special pat on the back to:

  • The Sisters Kiwanis, for a substantial cash contribution
  • SOAR and Tom Coffield, for organization and committment to kids.
  • Robinson & Owen Construction, for equipment and genius.
  • Mike Burke (Sisters Landscaping) for coordination and sprinklers.

Early this spring we will resume construction, fencing, dugouts, seeding and more.  You can help make this pile of gravel, with sprinklers, the charming new home of baseball in Sisters.  We can use any expertise, money or material you can contribute.  Contact Brian Witt, 549-4958.
